Sun-kissed and sun-blessed, Chelona* Resort is nestled on a gentle hill that softly finds its way to a long sandy beach, at the south-eastern coast of Kos island.

Thousands of years ago, Hercules, the famous hero of the Greek mythology, was sailing on his way back from Troy, when a sudden storm, sent by goddess Hera, destroyed his ship and huge waves washed the hero to the coast of an island.
The island was Kos and the coast was at the south-eastern part, at a cape named Cape Lakitir**.
