Tigaki
The nearest beach to the city of Kos is Tigaki, 11 km from the city-center. Tigaki beach is one of the most beautiful and one of the most popular on the island. There are many hotels and furnished appartments scattered throughout an area filled with trees and shrubs and flowers, which is the ideal site for a quiet and serene vacation. The area has developed over the last couple of years into a notable tourists center, with travel agencies, shops, restaurants, cafeterias, bars and official beaches offering all the amenities, including various watersports.
